With the departure of Scott as our fearless leader I was left with a choice:

Step up and give the game servers a new home or watch things dissolve.

I made the choice to put in the effort. When people wanted me to be leader I was honored but reluctant. I knew I would never be able to spend as much time as scott did keeping the team moving with projects.
So here we are. 2 years later.
It is time for a change.

If everyone agrees I would like to step aside for the good of the team and let NEO, a more energetic soul, run things.
I will still operate servers and play pusher for track projects but that is it. Neo and others will provide direction for the team from now on. I'm sure ATP will be stronger than ever.

Hahaha, pretty much. But we discussed a lot of things, we're going to work on creating a new website, and/or buy this one from Scott, so that we can recreate. We're also going to be working on a manialink and glow wants to try his hand at putting together a racing team, and burn and doc want to work on getting some team mods and stuff like that. We've been talking about a kickstart for a LONG time now, but it's time we just go ahead and do it. It's kind of weird to be full fledged captain, but Doc needed a break, he has a lot of other things he'd rather be working on, and after keeping this team alive after Scott left, he really deserves it. Apparently I was his choice for captain, and most seemed to be for the idea, so I'll go ahead and give it my best shot.

I know we discussed a manialink page but i have found that it is not avalible in TMNF only TMUF. So this means that anyone with nations will not even see it.
As for the racing team those interested please email me @ ATPRacing@gmail.com I will assume the responsiblity of setting up races against other teams as long as i get enough members that are willing to participate. The dates and times will be something to work out but if you cant make it you cant make it but the race will go on and stats will be recorded. I have a pc here that i will be setting up as a race night only server. It will come online 15minutes prior to race time and go offile 15 minutes after the race. When we make race plans I will be formating some rules for race night. One of which will be that if either team fails to produce at least 3 racers beyond 10minutes of post time they forfeit the event. I want to make this interesting so i would like to get some thoughts on the idea of a registration fee for race night. Each team will put up say 50 coppers winner take all. I am open to other ideas for this project and would like someone to act as co-captain for the evenings that inevitably i will be absent due to the fluctuation of my work schedule. I would like to get at least 10 current members to sign up.

Whichever site you went looking for a manialink glow, i think it was the wrong one. anyways, the one i found was TMUF/TMNF, which simply means it Requires the forever expansion, i dont think thats going to be a problem since its free Razz

I think it goes like this:

TMNF - Can see manialink but has to enter full web address

TMUF - Just has to enter the name of the manianlink

Things are going well, i'm getting more involved with the Haiku
project and might even be a mentor in the Google Summer of Code this
year.
I have build a handful of tracks for Trackmania DS, and might try to
figure out how to post those online, I have an M3 card for my DS which
lets me use a mircoSD card, so I supposed I can just transfer the
files over, we'll see. TMDS comes with stadium, deset and rally, and
is limited to 20x20 i think and a maximum number of tiles per track so
track building is tricky.
